I tried a lot of reading programs when trying to teach Tucker to read & they all left us in tears. Then I began to look into programs design specifically for dyslexia. I found several which were highly recommended (& extremely expensive). However, there was one thing about these programs that didn’t settle well with me: they all wanted to reteach him how to rethink – Like a left brain person. I love the way my boy thinks. I love all that comes with his right brain thinking. In fact I constantly tell him it’s a gift. I didn’t want to make him think like everyone else. I just wanted him to be able to read without hating it or struggling immensely.
